£65,000-£90,000 Product Manager
Senior
£90,000-£140,000+ Senior PM / Principal PM
Working pattern
UK PM roles overwhelmingly offer hybrid (2-3 days office, often with anchor days for cross-functional collaboration). London-heavy at scale-ups; some fully-remote at distributed companies. Standard hours; occasional intensity around launches or critical decisions.
Career progression
APM → Product Manager → Senior PM → Principal PM (IC track) OR Group PM → Director of Product → VP Product → CPO. Specialisations: growth, platform, B2B, B2C, mobile.
Recruiter pro tip
UK Product Manager JDs often confuse 'product owner' (Scrum role focused on backlog management) with 'product manager' (strategic role spanning discovery to launch). Be specific — they're different roles with different skills. Strategic PM roles need senior candidates; product owner roles can be more junior.
