Why we publish open data
Most UK salary data online is paywalled (Robert Walters, Hays, Glassdoor's full reports), buried in PDFs (ONS, gov.uk), or locked behind enterprise contracts (LinkedIn Talent Insights). That's a problem when journalists need to fact-check a salary claim, when HR teams need to benchmark a hire, or when researchers need a dataset that updates yearly.
We publish curated, recruiter-calibrated UK careers data under CC BY 4.0 so anyone can use it. The trade is simple: link back to JobLabs, and the data is yours to quote, chart, embed, or analyse. We update annually with each new tax year (April).
