After 12 years on the hiring side of the table — reading thousands of CVs, running interviews, and watching the same mistakes sink good candidates — I started JobLabs because job seekers deserve insider information, not generic advice.
What makes my perspective different
Most “career advice” online is written by people who’ve never hired anyone. I’ve been the one deciding whose CV gets through the ATS, whose LinkedIn profile catches my eye, and whose interview answer makes me pick up the phone to my client.
I’ve also spent the last two years testing every AI tool in the job-search space — because my candidates started asking about them, and I needed honest answers. Some are genuinely useful. Many are hype. I’ll tell you which is which.
