Reference Letter for First Job Template (UK 2026)
Why this matters
First-job applications in the UK are won and lost on signals of reliability and attitude. The candidates who get hired despite no work history are the ones whose references give specific evidence of those signals — attendance, follow-through, behaviour with adults, ability to take feedback. Generic 'lovely young person' references add little.
