Boolean Search
In recruiter context
When I'm sourcing on LinkedIn Recruiter, I might run something like ("product manager" OR "product owner") AND fintech NOT director. The candidates whose profiles use the right phrasing surface; the ones who buried their job title in a fancy euphemism don't. This is why "Software Engineer" beats "Code Wizard" on your LinkedIn — Boolean searches don't recognise creativity, they recognise keywords.
